One of my favorite things to design for an invitation suite is a custom wedding map outlining important places for the event. It’s a great way to add a different graphic element that reflects your overall theme without being too matchy-matchy. While most people will still use their GPS to find their way around on your big day and we don’t often include actual directions anymore, custom wedding maps are still a nice way to let your guests get their bearings and a general sense of where everything will be.
If you didn’t want to include a map in your invitations, you could include one in your hotel bags for out-of-town guests outlining not only details for your event, but other interesting things for them to check out as well. Another option would be to even include a little map in your ceremony program so guests can get an idea of where they’re going for the reception, after party, or even brunch the next day.
